Vocalist/Guitarist/Songwriter
I live in Southern Virginia, just outside of Danville. I've spent most of my life here. My mother was a singer and choir director in church, She was my inspiration and I learned to sing by listening to the church choir. The harmonies and various voices taught me the intricacies of singing. I started playing guitar at 13, but never really worked with bands until I was 28 years old. I always worked factory jobs to earn a living, which limited the work I could do in music. Started a family and had 2 kids which also limited my involvement in music. I still did what I could musically and also took that time to perfect the craft of playing guitar and singing. The bands I have performed with include; Stainless, Silverado, River City Band, Desperado, Mugshot, One Trip Pony, Group Therapy, Eye to Eye, Ragged Glory and Streamline. I'm currently retired from the factory thing and spend my time playing music, riding my Harley and occasionally traveling. I intend to use this web space to introduce the world to my original compositions as well as my take on some cover songs, and let people know where they can see and hear me perform. I currently perform solo gigs and with the band "The Existors". Occasionally I do shows with "The Heartburners" (a Tom Petty Tribute band).
